Description

Business is always demanding – bigger, better, faster, smarter – and leaders must rise to the occasion: Manager 3.0. Millennials are entering management for the very first time, and they are not afraid to shake things up. They are tearing down the corporate ladder, communicating on the fly, and bringing play to work. Millennials are creative, big thinkers, and they will change the face of leadership – IF they can bridge the gap between the hierarchical management style of senior executives and the casual, more collaborative approach of their peers. In this engaging webinar, participants learn a new plan of attack on how to best “CONNECT” through specific managerial techniques. The trainer brings the lessons from Manager 3.0: A Millennial’s Guide to Rewriting the Rules of Management to life on the webinar: Communicate, Own it, Navigate, Negotiate, Engage, Collaborate, and Teach.

Through this webinar, millennial managers have the opportunity to tackle tough topics and brainstorm innovative solutions. How do you manage your peers or someone older than you? How can you be collaborative yet have a bias towards action and decision making? How do you coach and challenge your team to be the best? Through insights from companies like Zappos, Groupon, and Southwest Airlines, everyone learns how to deal with difficult people, deliver constructive feedback, and make strong decisions to be a savvy leader that people want to follow.

Participants leave this webinar with the ability to:

  • Understand “old people” and bridge the gap among the generations in the workplace
  • Take ownership and see failure as a step towards success
  • Negotiate and sell ideas confidently by switching the perspective from fear to fun
  • Collaborate to take action and draw the line between manager and Best Friends Forever
  • Challenge a team to go above and beyond with PUSH goals - Personal, Urgent, Specific, Hairy
  • Build in fun through creative techniques to create a rewarding and inspiring culture
  • Share stories, nurture creativity, and serve as a mentor who people look up to
