Responding to long ramp times to quota and high attrition rates among new sales reps, and realizing managers were too busy closing deals to provide needed 1:1 support, we simply hired mentors.

Jenny Dearborn is the Chief Learning Officer and Vice President, Cloud Talent Success at SuccessFactors, an SAP Company, leading L&D for SAP Cloud Business Unit employees, partners and customers. She started in the learning field as an instructor and instructional designer and progressed to executive positions at Hewlett-Packard and Sun Microsystems. Jenny’s passion is in connecting learning solutions with global business strategy to drive measurable impact.
 
A recipient of the 2013 Silicon Valley Tribute to Women and Industry Award (TWIN), Jenny is on the Board of Directors of ASTD and TheaterWorks,the nationally-acclaimed theatre of Silicon Valley. She earned an MBA from San Jose State University, an M.Ed. from Stanford University and her BA from UC Berkeley.
