During this Sales and Marketing webinar, Allan Schweyer, the Incentive Research Foundation’s Chief Academic Advisor will present highlights and insights from the IRF’s new study, The Psychology of Points. Allan will discuss how participating in points programs increases employee engagement, intrinsic motivation, and identification with the organization. He will relate his findings to current workplace conditions and to foundational theories of human motivation to provide practical guidance on how to design and implement a successful points program.

About Allan Schweyer

Educated as a labor market economist, policy analyst and educator, Mr. Schweyer has contributed to the field of human capital management for over two decades. He is the author of two books, "Talent Management Systems" (Wiley & Sons, 2004) and Talent Management Technologies (HCI Press 2009). He is an author contributor to the best-selling books, “The Talent Management Handbook” and “The Compensation Handbook” (McGraw Hill) and has published hundreds of articles and white papers in academic journals, popular media, and industry specific publications worldwide, including Inc Magazine and The Economist.

Allan is a respected analyst, speaker, and guest lecturer on the topic of transformational human capital management for individuals, organizations, regions, and nations. He is widely considered to be one of the world’s leading thought leaders in human capital management.
